Director, Department of Institutional Integrity and Counselor to the President
Suzanne Rich Folsom is Director of the World Bank's Department of Institutional Integrity, the Bank's anti-corruption investigative unit. Ms. Folsom also serves as Counselor to the President of the World Bank Group, a position she has held since joining the Bank in 2003.

From 1995-2003, Ms. Folsom was in private practice with O’Melveny & Myers LLP. In addition to her responsibilities for client service and development, she served on the firm’s Ethics Committee and as Special Counsel in the Strategic Counseling and Government Affairs Group. Ms. Folsom began her legal career with Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, where she focused on international legal issues.

Ms. Folsom's international credentials include United Nations experience, including serving on the US Delegation to the UN Decade for Women Conference (Nairobi 1985). She also supported the US Ambassador to the UN Commission on the Status of Women, in negotiations and implementation of the Commission’s program of work in the 1980s. Previously, Ms. Folsom served as Private Secretary to H.M. Queen Noor of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Amman in the late 1980s. Other international activities include assisting in the coordination of a Somalia resettlement camp relief effort and serving on numerous Presidential and State Department delegations to Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Western Europe and Latin America.

Ms. Folsom graduated from Georgetown University Law Center and Duke University.
